PLASTIPOX PRIMING MATERIALS – 5P series

One of the most important conditions for many years of fail safe exploitation of plastic floors is their complete adhesion to a surface, which usually is a concrete layer. Only complete integration of used plastic material with the ground floor results in floor’s capability to carryover such great mechanical load as these designed to be the ground floor’s bearing capacity.

The physicochemical parameters of prime coat materials should give access to easy penetration into close to surface layers of porous concrete ground floor, bounding weaker fractions, closing micropores in concrete’s structure, and by means of that, preparing the concrete’s surface for application of actual floor. At the same time, the plastic can not contain any concrete oxidising ingredients that could impair concrete’s mechanical parameters.

The basic line of priming plastics for most of applications consists of:

  • PLASTIPOX 5P – elasticised priming plastic.
  • PLASTIPOX 5PD – penetrating priming plastic.
  • PLASTIPOX 5PD-L – deep penetration priming plastic.
  • PLASTIPOX 5PD-w – priming plastic of enhanced ambient humidity tolerance

Notice: Beside these standard types – we offer You special versions of priming materials e.g.: with high tolerance for humid and lightly wet surfaces (after the process of concrete lixiviation is finished), lightly greasy surfaces, low ambient temperature during the installation work etc.
